Our programmes are designed to be safe, supportive, and engaging, focusing on functional movement, physical health, and social connection.
Orion Wellness was founded on the belief that exercise is one of the most powerful tools available for improving quality of life, yet many people who could benefit most are often the least supported in accessing it.
We work closely with residential facilities, healthcare providers, and community services to deliver structured programmes that are inclusive, adaptable, and evidence-based.
Our mission is to improve wellbeing and independence through accessible, structured movement programmes.
We aim to:
At Orion Wellness, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to feel stronger, healthier, and more capable.
Orion Wellness was founded by Damien Dowling, a strength and conditioning specialist with over 12 years of applied experience across performance sport, rehabilitation, and health-based exercise settings. He has worked extensively with GAA and basketball athletes, while also specialising in the delivery of structured exercise programmes for individuals with intellectual disabilities, mental health conditions, and those recovering from injury. His approach is grounded in evidence-based practice, focusing on safe progression, functional movement, and long-term physical development within supportive and accessible environments. Damien is currently completing a Master of Science in Applied Strength and Conditioning, further underpinning his work with current research and best practice in exercise prescription for both performance and clinical populations.
